I wanted to call this skirt “Vintage” something. It feels very country thirties to me. However, no names worked for it! Made from a printed voile and lightweight gingham, this skirt is fully lined so no slip necessary. It’s cool, crisp, and ultra feminine.
The Specs:
Length- 32″
Low Waist- 31.5″
Hip- 39″
$28.50 pp
The size on this skirt should be a 4/6 but I think it’s more of an 8. I am not sure what I did differently but it is larger than the last one I made in a similar style. Please check the measurements against your body. Your hips should be about 2-3″ smaller than the hip measurement above and the waist measurement should hang comfortably approximately 2″ below your natural waist.
Machine wash, hang dry, press with warm iron.

If this was a 2/4 I would be ALL OVER IT! I wasn’t good at leaving “requests,” but I like this one.

Oh I love it!
It is beautiful!
But I who have made all my own clothes since I was 9 with homemade patterns do not know what size I would wear! If I buy a sweater or vest I buy a 20-22
or 2or 3X! Sad to say I am quite wide or should I say I like lots of fullness and nothing tight!
I love seeing your pattern and fabric combos!
