Summer Blush~

I wanted to call this skirt “Vintage” something.  It feels very country thirties to me.  However, no names worked for it!  Made from a printed voile and lightweight gingham, this skirt is fully lined so no slip necessary.  It’s cool, crisp, and ultra feminine.

The Specs:
Length- 32″
Low Waist- 31.5″
Hip-  39″
$28.50 pp

The size on this skirt should [...]

Prepped for Summer~ (Ladies 4/6)

This fabric reminds me of the Burberry plaid.  It is not Burberry fabric and should not be mistaken for it.  The peachy tan has dark sage and white stripes with coralish stripes as well.  It is printed on the bias and made from a lycra stretch lightweight twill.  This fabric does not need a slip [...]

Mariposa- Ladies 6-10

The Specs:

Length- 25.5″
Waist- (undrawn) 36″

$ 18.50 pp
This skirt will fit very hippy women as long as they can slide the skirt over their hips or over their chest.  The waist can be cinched in significantly before it’s bulky.  Personally, I would label it a 6 or 8 but for those who like maximum reduced bulk [...]

Taipei~

Perfect for wandering through Chinatown, Taipei, or on a walk with the kids!  This versatile skirt is full enough for easy and free movement while allowing the skirt to skim the hips without extra bulk.  The waist band is a mock yoke tied with thin grosgrain ribbon.  Zips at the side for a perfect fit.

Designed [...]

Retro Fusion

In honor of Michael Miller’s excellent fabric, “Floral Fusion,” I offer you…. Drum roll please… Retro fusion!
PLEASE NOTE:  The twill tape I used to show the drawstring is NOT the drawstring you will receive unless you request it. The drawstring you will receive is dark brown and matches the grosgrain ribbon trim (sans the dots [...]

Shabby Retro~ (Ladies 14/16)

Oh I had to use up the last little bit of French-e-dellic and this gingham just called to me!  I originally purchased some floral trim to add spark but once I needed two rows of it, it was just too much!  SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  Voila..  Shabby Retro was born.  A simple a-line skirt with an inset band [...]

Summer Cruisin’

Ok, so I have loved this fabric since the first time I saw it!  Then I saw it again.  And then again.  And again.  And finally I knew what I wanted to do.
I bought it.  It called to me.  It said, “I would look adorable riding a bike through a small town, walking along the [...]

Not-So- RETRO!

This makes me think of “country” in the ’40’s.  You know… hanging crisp white sheets on the line, an apron over your clothes, and listening to the radio shows at the end of a hard day.  We’re just coming out of the Depression and your eldest son or little brother is off to get “Der [...]

Flutter-bye Days~

I fell in love with this fabric (have it in green too… almost done) and had to have fun.  So, this one was my first style.  Simple with a bit of funky trim.  I can see this for picnics, trips to the zoo, afternoons at the museum, and of course, shopping for the perfect coordinating [...]

Tropical Splash- Take Two~ SOLD

Oh I like this!  I had a blast with this one.  It has everything in it that I wanted for the first one.  The Euro colors, the fun print, and all accented with embroidered ribbon!
Specs
Length- 24.5″
Waist- 26″ unstretched.
Hips- 38-40″ comfortably
I’d say that this would easily fit a girls size 14-16 up to a ladies 6-8 [...]
